What's been

 happening at

 Netherby?

On Thursday of Week 3, students from the

 senior syndicate took part in

Mid Canterbury School's Winter Tournament.

  Netherby had netball, soccer and

 hockey teams competing against other

schools from around the district. The

teams played well and came away with

 some great results.

We are a 'Duffy Books in Homes' school; a programme which promotes reading through providing a minimum of 5 free books to all children throughout the year. The programme also includes the use of role models, who talk to the children about their achievements, goals and make a connection between success and reading.

Netherby's six teacher school is small enough to encourage a family-type atmosphere, yet big enough to provide the same educational opportunities as a large school. We hope you enjoy our website and please do contact us if you require anymore information.
